The Idea was good but they messed it up…they should have made it more like windows 7 on the PC, faster,smoother & better than mobile 6.5 and all they had to do was put a nice interface over it the way HTC does

I’m always sketching out notes on my WM phone. So the capacitive screen kinda bums me out.
I’m also not sure about that new home screen… it looks clunky.

I currently own a Samsung Omnia i900. I was going to get the Samsung Omnia II i8000, but decided to wait and see if Microsoft was going to offer a better experience with 7 series at the WMC and they have so I’m going to hold out until Samsung brings out a 7 series device. Can’t wait until MIX10 where we will see the application’s 7 Series is going to recieve. I hope you will be doing a piece on MIX10

finally windows is making things simple and easy to use it will be a big shot at the iphone b/c to me it is a zune phone, ive been waiting for this but i do not think it will surpass the iphone or android just b/c of the app thing just like the zune hd there are no apps and probably wont be any more then there are now so if microsoft wants to do it right they better get in the app business or they are going to fall behind in this group of people they are going after with this os

its great they mae minimum requirement for hardware but ui restrictions
the microsoft ui might be great wont know till we try although it doesnt look all fansy.
best thing about win mo was being able to do anythn and tht it was similar to a desktop pc
hopefully they will try to make it more flexible and if they dont there are always devolopers who can hack it
looks like the windows mobile 7 will have to be jailbroken like the iphone os so tht u get the best of it. -

Not too sure about it. Best part of windows mobile was the flexibility. Seems like a sell out. If I can’t customize a lot or if I’m limited to certain file formats etc, then it’s no deal. Are programs/widgets going to be open source or microsoft mandated and non-free? I’m not sold quite yet, have to see it working for myself. If it’s going to be rigid and non-flexible then Google just might get my vote…

Bye Bye lack of features Iphone. Thank goodness no Ugly Icons like Iphone has. Windows Phone 7 looks more up to date look than Iphone ugly Icons. LOL… I heard that Iphone OS 4 will still have same look and ugly Icons still LOL… Also Iphone when are you ever gonna have flash? it been 3yrs and still waiting LOL… Yup you know Windows Phone 7 going to sky rocket when it arrives this November. Can’t wait for it. I can now use my Iphone for a Frisbee to throw at in the Ocean. LOL…
