    Hi palmsolo, I have 1 question, I see that the phone can tilt in certain apps and that’s a pretty neat feature of course. But is it orientable at all times? Like in messaging, or even on the home screen?
    Thanks! and great vid ;)

    @altimitcc You obviously is blind. Please do not speak until you are enlightened enough. I do not know everything but I know for a fact that apple only innovated on ideas that were out there by adding smooth animations to the ios, better hardware and etc.

  3. richdice445k7 says:

    @JaredJosephHoag Clearly stated just as I preach it to people that believe that apple is an innovative and a superior company. They are good but I believe Microsoft is better.

    @altimitcc Really?
    Then it’ll be a big blow to you to find out that Apple based Mac OS off of Unix.

    @Sibidi2008: wanna see colorful UI? Then go iphone. IMO, the WP7 UI is simply smart and powerful. :)

  6. leduchoan says:

    Awesome! Simply smart and powerful! I love this :D

    @bratnikola This IS better!!! Finally someone has created an OS suited for use as a SMARTPHONE!!! The use of an app representing one function only and totally unconnected from the rest of the phone is not efficient on a mobile device.

    Apple and Android still believe that a phone should act like a PC – the thing is, they’re not. They are phones – so the functionality is different.

  8. Schirmatilen says:

    This OS is unique, there’s nothing like it – It has the potential to be a game changer – go read the reviews, they all say it’s like nothing you’ve seen before. It makes iOS/Android/Symbian (all clones of each other) look dated.

  9. bratnikola says:

    So what are you guys doing here if you are iphone fans? Afraid something better will come out? :) )

    I agree it is dull looking. The tiles look like street signs. I think they designed it like that on purpose though. The signs are necessary then become an afterthought; it’s the destinations that are exciting. A bright, colorful, fancy, fun email icon doesn’t make the emailing experience any better. It makes you think it will be a fun adventure, but it’s the same old email system. With this interface the email system is much more “fun” than the icon depicts it to be.

    @altimitcc: Try again.

    Apple has never invented anything substantial from scratch. They, too, take ideas from other people and improve upon them.

    The primary difference between Apple and other companies is they do a better job at improving other people’s ideas.

    See: MacOS, the Macintosh itself, the original apple computer, the iPhone, the iPhone OS, the iPod, the iPad, and pretty much anything else significant you can think of.

  12. altimitcc says:

    they all copied the iphone OS , apple invented all the basics , now android , bada and this crap are using it …..

    it’s suck… go Google Android!!

  15. wixostrix says:

    @lipton5001 The Xbox controller indicator lights also rotated back in 2005 when changing the console orientation.

    @flarbton Stop being naive, you sound like a 12 year old.. if you’re born in this era, you should be ready to accept new ideas and concepts. iOS created the standard expectation of touch based UI’s but it’s time to move on. This thing isn’t going to kill you and you’re little whine won’t stop time. So why don’t you go to a nearby Apple store and use their time machine to rot in the present?. While everyone else contributes to/ for the future?

  17. flarbton says:

    confusing clusterfuck clone of iOS on iPhone 4 etc… sucks.

  18. sterlingman says:

    Even the + sign swings around, that’s cool.

    This phone is really, really smooth and intuitive to everything that is done to it… never slow always quick and responsive and WP7… They are doing a very very nice job can’t wait to see the final product..

  21. poweezy28 says:

    Notifiications also pop-up in the top without blocking what your doing, which is how apple should have made it. Also if your playing music just tap on a volume button and the Zune interface pops up on the top. Really looking forward to its release, ill jump from an iphone as ive got an itouch to a Wp7 phone :)

  22. lipton5001 says:

    The shutter button on the first iPhone back in 2007 rotated :) ) But I’m not saying this ain’t a nice touch, love the phone
