The phone packs a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm and is powered by Google’s multi-touch and multitasking capable Android 2.1 OS. The phone will have an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash. It offers 8 GB of internal memory, but one-ups the iPhone by offering up to 32 GB of swappable microSD storage.

i have verizon, and its very unreasonable to buy out of my contract, just to switch to another service. But this HTC diamond that ive been hearing so much about seems well worth it. will it be available to verizon wireless customer? and when will the phone be released. is it really better than the iPHONE?
