Nexus One Homescreens and Live Wallpaper
Here’s a look at the widgets on the Nexus One from Google
-
Do they make nexus one on AT&T please reply!
-
@billteix They do make an AT&T 3G model, but AT&T does not sell it. You have to go directly to Google and buy it out of contract ($525 + Tax & shipping to be exact). T-Mobile and AT&T, while they do use the same technology, they do not use the same frequencies, and HTC did not make this phone with all the frequencies built in (most likely due to contract agreements with T-Mobile)

Hold the dots on the left or right for about a second. It will have a little popup of all your screens. You can then choose your screen, and jump all the way to the left or right.

im glad some ppl do their research
pocketnownow is great but they love windows mobile too much -
Long press on the dots actually helps you to jump from one homescreen to another
-
That was a good detailed review thanx
-
@melder2011 Not a prob. Having the integrity to apologize puts you at the top 1% of people on YT anyway.
I’m trying to break into tech journalism myself, but I’m the kind of person that sometimes misses these little features, so I get too overly defensive about it lol .
Cheers.

Ur really windows addicted

@Involved6 Wow. Reading over it, I was kind of a jerk. I’ve actually been subscribed to him so I’m not really sure why I went off haha. For the length of the review, he really did do a fantastic job. I’ve just seen a few really terrible overviews and I guess I was just disappointed because I do really respect his opinion. He really is a great reviewer. Sorry bout that.
-
@melder2011 I have been following pocketnow (Brandon in particular) for several months now. Ive learned a few things about my WM phone I didn’t know, & he has many excellent reviews for many devices
It is incredibly unfair to say his whole review bears no merit based on his lack of knowledge on 2 topics of all those covered. It is obvious he has put much more than 2 minutes into the phone based on his populated contact list, and several aftermarket apps.
Its not perfect, but cut him a break.
-
@theJ0x I know! It seems like every review on here has gotten something fundamentally wrong with either Android or the Nexus One itself, and every time I see that I lose respect for the review.
Also, POLAR CLOCK WORKS! but you have to choose a theme in settings! I don’t even have a Nexus and I know this.
To all reviewers out there. PLAY WITH THE PHONE FOR 2 MINUTES BEFORE YOU MAKE A VIDEO. It makes you look incompetent, it doesn’t make the phone look bad.
-
@Lukexx yup. theres already 5 to 10 others in the market.
-
can you download more of these live wallpapers?
-
@sinancetinkaya Its the best, for sure, the only thing that put’s off lots of people of using it is the fact that it is SOOOO hard to use. I have a samsung omnia, and some feautures like turning wifi are just too hard to do by default (tap with finger nail very tiny icont – tap very tine thing showing “manage connections” and then you get the selector)

Windows Mobile is by far the most powerful mobile OS. What about SQL Database, .NET support, DHCP support, RAM management, Multitasking, Kernel accessibility, OS structure, Registry structure…I’m a rom maker, and I say WM is not the most user friendly but it’s the best mobile OS.
-
That is awesome. Thank you for that info mate.
-
@CraigBass1988 the Phone itself tells you when it has an update.
