I’m getting my hands on this phone. AT&T service sucks and everyone knows Verizon has better coverage. The iPhone is the only thing that’s keeping AT&T in business.

@mitchiex3333 it depends. On verizon wireless, its 199.99 for a 2 yr contract, 269.99 with a one yr contract, not sure of month to month though

I just ordered my incredible from Verizon a week ago, and I had to pay $300 minus the mail in rebate that I can’t mail in until I get my phone. It is on backorder and when I bought mine the waiting list was almost 4 weeks long. They will probably invent some new technology by then! I just saw the new Motorola Droid X and it looks pretty cool, but the HTC sense looks pretty nice. I also bought a holster and screen protector, and car charger with it, so my bill was over $400 with tax.

@vi67 wtf….if the Droid X is 200 dollars thats definitely not liding with me. verizon changed their website info on both the droid AND the incredible. it now says 199.99 w 2 year contract when 2 days ago it said 199.99 with 2 year contract and a 100 mail in rebate. i seriously hope its 100 after a rebate or else i just screwed myself over amd i just sinked another 100 dollars.

@choigunz__ oops..!__ There are some articles indicating 199.99 price with a 100 rebate (and others indicate after a 100 rebate) .__ The former sounds better but less than likely.___FWIW: The Dinc was 199.99 w/2yr(minus 50 for father’s day special and minus 50 for ne2 deal– so, 99.99) at the verizon store.

@choigunz Wow, I did not know about the mail-in rebate but a quick search and eWeek confirms your.__ So yes, the droid X is 199.99 w/2yr contract minus an additional mail-in rebate of 100…!__ And minus an additional 50 for Verizon’s “new every two” program.__ Which could indicate a droid X at 49.99, not too bad…!

@vi67 well just cancelled my order for the incredible. lets hope that the price is the same as the incredible so i wont have to pay more money. as for the evo i have a friend who has one and it didnt seem tooo bad it looked bigger than it was because its mmore of a square in my opinion and the droid x looks like a big rectangle. if the droid x isnt 199.99 w/ 100 mail in rebate for 2 year contract im definitely not getting it though its not that much better than the incredile just a lil bit bette
