Hey, I call it how I see it. The iPad is a giant iPod touch. Yes, I own a netbook and I’d take my netbook (which only takes a bit more space than an iPad, has an actual physical keyboard, and can run a real desktop OS) over an iPad any day. Also, the iPad has a 1GHz processor and 256MB of RAM. The average netbook has a 1.6GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, yet you’re saying that netbooks are sluggish compared to the iPad? Run along fanboy. -

Then again, if I were a user I prefer applications from developers who know how to program for that device natively, whether blackberry, android, or iPhone in order to optimize it as much as possible. Sun and Adobe are good for web content but this is about software. As for programming language, android as well as blackberry only use Java. However, I wholeheartedly agree about the iPhone os being closed in terms of web content.
